“HOPE”
Thankful to have been one of the artist selected to paint on 6th street just hours before Austin was preparing for the shelter-in-place orders. The mission was to paint on the boarded up bars and bring some color to a dark time. Beautifying a scene that was initially hard to digest and spread the message of togetherness when most of us are forced to be apart. huge thank you to all the local bar owners involved in the project as well as Erik Fink (@discoerik), CK Chin (@seekaychin) Zuzu (@zuzubee), Miles Starkey (@starkeymiles), David Russell @daaru_art), Liz Whitington (@lizwhitington13), and HOPE founder Andi Scull (@andiscull) for bringing this idea to life
“These Walls Bring Us Together “ - The HOPE Campaign (@hopecampaign) is excited to share the announcement for the new HOPE for Health campaign aimed to build financial & wellness support for our creative community and their businesses during the COVID-19 crisis. HOPE has been and will continue to commission local artists to paint positive messages around the city.
